Om's Home sits on Jomsom's main street, close enough to the airport that you can walk to an early flight with a porter carrying bags. The main part of the hotel is a traditional Thakali-style building, with newer wings around a small garden. Rooms have attached bathrooms, thick duvets for cold nights and simple regional decor. The restaurant serves Thakali sets, Indian vegetarian dishes and continental breakfasts, and the staff are used to cooking for pilgrim groups.
We use Om's Home for most of our Muktinath yatras and Jomsom tours because of its location, reliable hot water and friendly service. It is not a luxury hotel, and rooms vary in size and view, so ask for the newer wing if you prefer modern finishes. In peak months of April–May and October it fills with groups, so we book early. Wi-Fi works in common areas, though speed depends on the town's connection.

Om's Home is in central Jomsom, a few minutes' walk from the airstrip. Porters or the hotel can help with bags. This location is a real advantage on flight days, when check-in for the first Pokhara flight can be around 6 am and delays are announced at short notice.
Does Om's Home serve Indian vegetarian food?
Yes. The kitchen regularly cooks for Indian pilgrim groups and serves dal, rice, chapati, vegetable curries and Thakali sets. Jain food without onion and garlic can be arranged with advance notice.
