Namaste Falls drops down a rock face in a forested gully below the ridge, and Bhedetar is the usual starting point. We drive out along local roads and then walk down a footpath through forest to the base of the fall. The time on foot is usually 30 to 45 minutes each way, with some steep and slippery steps, so shoes with grip are important.
The fall is at its most impressive in September and October, when the monsoon has filled the streams, and still good through November. By March to May the flow thins considerably. The spray zone at the bottom is cool on warm days, and local families come to picnic on the rocks.
Road access and footpaths change after heavy rain, so our driver checks the route on the day. We do not recommend swimming in the pool beneath the fall: currents and falling rock are real risks.

Questions travellers ask
How far is Namaste Falls from Bhedetar?
It is a short drive along local roads followed by a walk of about 30–45 minutes each way. Allow around 3 hours for the round trip with time at the falls.
When is the best time to see Namaste Falls?
September to November, after the monsoon, when the flow is strongest. In the dry spring months the fall is much thinner, and in the monsoon itself the trail is muddy and leech-prone.
Is the walk suitable for kids?
Yes, for children who walk confidently with an adult. The steps can be steep and wet near the bottom, so hold small children's hands.
