Manaslu in November

November is clear and colder, with fewer trekkers than October and very good visibility. Larkya La is usually open, but nights at Dharamsala fall to −12 °C or below, and a storm can bring snow to the pass, especially late in the month. Families in Samdo and Samagaun start preparing for winter. Bring warm gear, and keep a spare day in case the crossing has to wait for better weather.

Samagaun −7 to 10 °C, Bimthang −9 to 8 °C, dry, cold nights. Conditions change fast with altitude, so check the mountain forecast a few days before you travel.
