Tigerland Safari stands in riverine forest on the bank of the Rapti at Jagatpur, Bharatpur, about 4 km from the national park and around 22 km from Bharatpur Airport. It is now managed under the Lemon Tree Hotels brand, which is familiar to Indian travellers. Accommodation is in 35 standalone wooden cottages with air conditioning, a seating area and private bathrooms, many with views toward the park across the river.
The resort has a multi-cuisine coffee shop, Citrus Cafe, a large banquet hall and meeting rooms, which makes it a popular choice for Indian family groups, weddings and corporate trips. Safari activities, canoeing and walks are arranged from the resort. Its location west of Patihani is quieter than Sauraha, and crocodiles, birds and occasionally rhinos are seen across the river. We use it for family and group safaris from India.
