September is a month of change. Rain eases from the middle of the month, and by the last week Rara and Jumla flights are regular again and the trails dry out. Humla is excellent, with clear skies over the Limi Valley and the last Kailash groups of the season. Gaura Parva may fall in early September. Bardia and Shuklaphanta generally reopen in late September or October, once roads and river crossings inside the parks are repaired.
