Green Park Chitwan is one of the better-equipped resorts in Sauraha, located at Tiger Point, around 3 km from the national park entry by the river and within walking distance of Sauraha's cafes and dance halls. It has around 32 air-conditioned rooms with balconies, minibars and satellite TV, an outdoor swimming pool, a children's pool, a restaurant and bar, and conference space that makes it popular with Nepali and Indian groups.
The resort sells packages that combine rooms and meals with jeep safaris, canoe rides, jungle walks, a Tharu village visit and the evening cultural show. Its convenient location and family facilities are why we use it on our 2-night jungle safari, 3-night safari and family safari packages. It is a step up from Sauraha's guesthouses without the price of the Meghauli lodges.
