Is June a good time to visit Annapurna?
The monsoon usually arrives in mid-June. Pokhara and the southern slopes receive heavy rain, leeches appear on forest trails and landslides begin to affect roads to Siwai, Ghandruk and Besisahar. Cloud hides most views. Upper Manang lies in the rain shadow and stays much drier, so the upper Circuit is possible with flexible plans, but the jeep road up the Marsyangdi is often blocked. We do not sell most Annapurna treks this month.
